Therapy + Coaching

Stop fighting your inner world. Start relating to it differently.Verified byPsychology Today

Narrative Crafting helps you understand the patterns, parts, and stories shaping your life—so you can respond with more clarity, choice, and self-trust.

You don’t have to defeat your mind or become a different person. The work is learning how to meet yourself differently.

You’re Not Alone In This

You May Be in the Right Place If…

Old patterns keep repeating

You notice the same loops showing up, even when you promise yourself things will be different this time.

Anxiety or self-sabotage deepens.

Part of you wants to move forward while another part keeps pulling the brakes.

You’re moving through a major life transition

Graduation, career change, retirement, loss, or any of life’s unexpected plot twists.

You’re untangling identity, spirituality, or meaning

You’re asking deeper questions about who you are and what matters to you.

You feel creatively stuck

Procrastination or a mental block is sitting between you and the work you care about.

You know something needs to change

You feel the nudge—but you’re not yet sure what the change actually is.

  • Trauma recovery
  • LGBTQIA+ experiences
  • Spiritual awakening
  • Grief and loss

Brian listens patiently and without judgment. I feel safe talking with him and his feedback helped me see my options with more clarity.

The Essence of the Work

What Is Narrative Crafting?

Narrative Crafting brings together nervous-system work, parts work, emotional processing, and the stories you’ve learned to live by. The goal is not to force yourself into a better story, but to create enough safety and awareness that new choices become possible.

You do not have to defeat your mind, silence every part, or become a different person. The work is learning how to meet yourself differently.

We all carry an inner narrative—made up of auto-pilot emotions, triggers, conscious thoughts, and the unconscious beliefs underneath them. Most of the time we mistake that story for the truth. Narrative Crafting is the process of becoming aware of it, learning to question it, and gently creating room for something new.

It integrates evidence-based modalities with your own intuition and lived experience to help you reduce self-sabotage, heal old patterns, and relate to the conflicting parts of yourself with more clarity and compassion.

It’s a careful, practical, and experiential method—not a quick fix and not a fairy tale. When practiced, it allows you to change the story you live by, starting with the one running quietly underneath.

“

Brian is a story alchemist. He is capable of reaching into the far corners of my mind for gold, which is my pure potential, pure essence. Then, with clarity, compassion and humour, he guides me so that I can find the best ways for that gold to shine.

A Safe Place to Begin

What Working With Brian Feels Like

01

Curious, Not Judgmental

We look at what is happening without treating any part of you like the enemy.

02

Gentle, But Not Passive

The work can be honest and challenging without becoming harsh.

03

Practical and Experiential

We do more than talk about change. We practice relating differently in real time.

“

Brian creates a safe space and makes you feel heard in session. He listens attentively and offers thoughtful insights that encourage you to explore different avenues in an empowered way, guiding you to think and create for yourself rather than telling you the answers. I would highly recommend working with him.

— Kyli M., Self-Love & Identity Revival Coach

My promise. You will not be alone and you will not be judged. From your first consult, I’m in your corner and invested in your growth. This isn’t a passive process—it’s active, introspective, and participatory—but it honors your pace, your goals, and your need for safety. You’ll also learn to trust your own inner wisdom, so you increasingly know what to do and how to heal.

Core beliefs. You are made up of many parts—a natural state—and there are no bad parts; every part is trying to protect you in some way. We’re meant to move toward wholeness and peace, the way the body heals once a wound is cleaned. Everyone experiences some form of trauma, and everyone can recover; symptom management isn’t the goal—lasting change is.

My perspective. Healing and growth take patience and gentleness. We follow the lead of your system and your parts, and trust the unfolding of the work. You’ll be met with compassion and non-judgment—someone in the trenches with you. Consistency helps, but any honest, compassionate step toward healing is powerful.

Depending on your needs, our work may fall under psychotherapy, coaching, or a blend of therapeutic and experiential approaches. We’ll clarify what fits best during the free consultation so you know exactly what kind of work we’re entering into.
That’s completely fine. You do not need a polished goal or diagnosis before reaching out. Part of the early work is helping you understand what feels stuck, what keeps repeating, and what you want to be different.
Many people come in after previous therapy, self-help, or coaching experiences that were useful in some ways but did not create the shift they hoped for. My approach is highly experiential and integrative, so we may work not only with what you think about a problem, but also with the nervous system, emotions, protective parts, and patterns underneath it.
No. We do not force disclosure or push you into material you are not ready to explore. The work is paced collaboratively, with attention to safety, capacity, and what feels useful in the present.
You do not need to edit yourself into a more acceptable version before showing up. My job is to help you understand what is happening with curiosity and honesty, not shame you for the ways you learned to cope, protect yourself, or survive.
Both. I offer telehealth as well as in-person sessions. We can talk during the consultation about which format makes the most sense for you.
I do not bill insurance directly. Payment is handled privately through a secure online system. I can explain the process and any documentation options during the consultation.
It’s a 20-minute conversation where you can tell me what is bringing you in, ask questions, and get a feel for how I work. I’ll also let you know whether I think I’m a good fit for what you are looking for. There is no pressure to continue.
This practice is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For emotional crisis support in the U.S., call or text 988. Please do not use the consultation form for urgent or emergency needs.
